1. About this service
CourtSA Calendar ("the Service") is provided by Digital Law Lab ABN [to be inserted] ("Digital Law Lab", "we", "us"). The Service logs in to CourtSA (courtsa.courts.sa.gov.au) on your behalf and retrieves upcoming hearing information associated with your firm, which is then made available as a private calendar subscription feed.
The Service is not sanctioned, endorsed, affiliated with, or supported by the Courts Administration Authority of South Australia, the South Australian Courts, or any government body.
2. Access and eligibility
Access to the Service is granted by invitation only. By using the Service you confirm that:
- You are a legal practitioner or authorised staff member of an Australian law firm;
- You hold a valid CourtSA account and are authorised to use it;
- The information you provided in your invite request was accurate and complete.
One account is issued per person. Accounts may not be shared, transferred, or used on behalf of anyone other than the account holder.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for independently verifying all hearing dates, times, and venues through official court channels before relying on them for any professional purpose.
- You must keep your CourtSA credentials confidential and notify us immediately at mark@digitallawlab.org if you believe they have been compromised.
- You must not use the Service in any way that breaches the CourtSA terms of use or any applicable law.
- You must not attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with the Service beyond your authorised use.
4. Accuracy and availability
The Service retrieves information directly from CourtSA and presents it without modification. We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any hearing information retrieved. Hearing data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect due to factors outside our control, including changes to CourtSA, network issues, or scraping failures.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at any particular time or without interruption. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur without notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Law Lab expressly excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from:
- Missed, incorrect, or delayed hearing information;
- Reliance on the Service as a primary or sole source of hearing information;
- Service unavailability, errors, or interruptions;
- Unauthorised access to your account.
If any liability is not excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees paid by you (if any) for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
6. Suspension and termination
Digital Law Lab may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if the Service is discontinued, or if your CourtSA account becomes invalid.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting mark@digitallawlab.org.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
